With the aims to promote the unique Ivey’s case-based learning model, meet the demand for the development of more Asian cases and provide timely support to schools and clients in greater China and Asia, the Ivey Case Center (Asia) was established in May 2016. Thanks to the generous gifts of two reputable Ivey alumni, Dr. Henry K.S. Cheng, HBA ’71, MBA ’72, LLD ’97 and Dr. Simon Tin-Yin Cua, EMBA ’05, LLD ’15, the Case Centre (Asia) is based at the Cheng Yu Tung Management Institute in Hong Kong.
Our goal is to working more closely with universities and enterprises in China for the development and publishing of Asian context cases, organizing case workshops, case competitions, and conferences and providing more timely supporting services to Ivey cases users in Asia.
We also actively seeking to build strategic partnership with universities in China to develop cases for education purposes. We have signed a strategic co-operation agreement with Tsinghua University Institute for Data Science to foster long term cooperative research and teaching related to big data.
We look forward to forming different types of partnership for the development of high quality China and Asian context based cases in the region.
